What the proxy does
The proxy option in the upload form routes the account verification (done through Telethon) to Telegram via a proxy in the country you choose. The system then checks your accounts from a location that matches the country of the phone numbers you upload.
Why the country matters
Telegram may trigger extra verification or security checks when an account is accessed from a different region. Choosing the correct proxy country reduces the risk of login issues, additional verification steps or temporary restrictions.
How to choose
- Select the proxy country that matches the accounts inside your ZIP or RAR file.
- Make sure all accounts in one upload come from the same country.
Don't mix countries in one file
Mixing accounts from different countries in a single ZIP or RAR creates mismatches between the proxy location and the phone number region, which increases the chance of verification problems. Split them into one file per country instead.
