What Is the Purpose of the Proxy Option When Uploading Accounts?
The proxy function in the account upload menu is used to route the account verification process through Telethon to Telegram. This ensures that the system checks your accounts using a proxy location that matches the country of the phone numbers you are uploading.
Because Telegram may trigger verification or security checks when an account is accessed from a different region, choosing the correct proxy country helps reduce the risk of login issues, additional verification steps, or temporary account restrictions.
For this reason, you must select the proxy country that corresponds to the accounts inside your ZIP or RAR file. Additionally, make sure that all the accounts you upload at once come from the same country.
Mixing accounts from different countries inside a single ZIP or RAR may cause mismatches between proxy location and phone number region, increasing the chances of verification problems during the checking process.
